Self-proclaimed  ‘World Citizen’,  Fae is the publisher of Fae’s Twist & Tango, a magazine website of a storyteller.

Fae was born in Iran, and her family moved to Japan when she was five. Her academic education was in English and Japanese at an international school. Having spoken Farsi, Japanese and English at home, Fae has three ‘mother tongues’. Not only did she become proficient in languages but gained a wealth of multiple cultural educations through interactions with schoolmates representing every corner of the world.

Fae moved to San Francisco Bay Area (California, USA) to attend university and remained ever since. She earned degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science. She worked for high-tech companies in Silicon Valley for 25 years as a corporate executive in sales and marketing before her early retirement.

Fae’s long-time goal, publishing cookbooks, was the inspiration for becoming a food blogger. She passionately writes about food and its cultural origins, while creating and writing recipes that can be followed by all levels and ages of home-cooks.

You will learn more about Fae through her stories, articles about world cultures, travel, and recipes with a twist! And, where does the ‘tango’ come from?  She passionately loves and dances Argentine Tango.  It is only natural, she had to incorporate the word ‘tango’ when she’s using the word ‘twist’!
