To protect the beauty/softness of your hands (and manicures of course), it is smart to wear ‘non LATEX’ exam gloves from beginning to end of any project. Once you wear them, think of your hands as bare.  Wash and dry them repeatedly as needed, even if you have other tasks to complete as you cook (house cleaning, dish washing or whatever!).  These gloves can be obtained at Costco (or similar wholesale stores or medical supply stores in your country). Find one precisely your hand size, for ease of use.
