When I read about ‘Look, I made it!’ in the morning, I thought ‘I want to be the first one’… So, after going through Fae’s recipes again, I decided to make the ‘Baklava Cake’ but with a ‘twist & tango’, I baked it as Baklava Cupcakes. ~~ Tea With Erika
December 12, 2013 - Background: ‘Look, I made it!’ is a feature in which you would make one of Fae’s recipes and have it featured on Fae’s Twist & Tango’s Blog and Facebook.
Since starting the feature on May 15, 2013, with pleasure, I’ve had 11 participants. Also, I made three of your recipes. Beginning in 2014, I’d like to make the following new revisions to the feature:
♪ There will no longer be a ‘Look, I made it!’ post generated on Fae’s Twist & Tango.
♪ However, adding a thumbnail photo of your creation↗ (with links to your blog, if any) on the related Fae’s post will continue!
♪ A photo of your Fae’s recipe creation will be posted on photo-album on Fae’s Twist & Tango Facebook named ‘Look, I made it!- Fans’ Photos’ (with links to your blog, if any), which will also show-up on FB ‘Timeline’ when added.
♪ You do not need to generate a post to participate. All I need is one photo e-mailed to me (or if you have generated a post, I’ll take it from there, with your permission).
♪ You do not need to be a blogger to participate! Just e-mail your photo to my Facebook ‘Message’ with your name and a very brief one-liner about it.
♪
♦ Are you interested in doing a Guest Post?
An entire post which features you and ‘your’ recipe, photographs, travels or areas of interest, as a Guest Post. A link back to your Blog (if not a Blogger, you have something to brag to your friends about!) and being featured on Fae’s Twist & Tango Facebook (also with links)!

‘Look, I made it!’ & ‘Guest Post’ features are not competitions and there is no expiration date at this time. Every request is appreciated, respected and posted (within reason). This is my way of creating a venue for Non-Bloggers and simultaneously generating traffic for my Fellow Bloggers, while we are all having fun. It is my pleasure to provide this service.

Fae – Site looks great. The festive picture of Girl’s Day makes me long for Japan (although, I’ve only been there at the airport, passing through a couple of times). I love the tradition there. Japan has been on my list of places to go, and now that we have non-stop flights from BOS to NRT on the Dreamliner, I’m saving my air miles like crazy!
Dear Ian, When you plan to go to Japan, give yourself as many days as possible. There is so much to see. The best time is their spring or autumn. If cost is an issue, there are very clean, inexpensive but very small accommodations available. If you stick to the local family restaurants, food can be very reasonable too. This fall, my husband and I are going to Japan for 6 weeks and my son will join us the last 10 days. Since we have seen quite a bit of Japan already (historical landmarks, major cities and its amusements), it will be more of visiting friends, eating good food and mingle in fun places like here(photos here), and here. Enjoy! :D

- Yes, we Iranians love our ‘polos’! :D ))) I visited your polo post. I found it fascinating that they call it polo too. Do you know why?
- We visited China in April 2010. We only saw Beijing (and vicinity) Shanghai, Xian and Hong Kong. It was one of most educational destination of out travel. Definitely, we will go back again. So much to see. Wow!

Hi Fae, what you say is so true and sad, the U.S. does not celebrate Children the way other countries do. I visit family in Italy often and it always amazes me how the whole family embraces the children, they are their treasures. Thank you for the history about Japan. Have a wonderful evening. :)

BTW, in my country, 1-June is International Children’s Day.
I am going to show this to my girls this morning because my oldest daughter is learning about Japan and the importance of koi fish there. I helped the class make koi fish as a volunteer. What a great idea to celebrate kids — they are the future!
