Nora had a shoe-shopping ‘session’ in our scheduled program, OF COURSE!
(By appointment only) we had an appointment with Comme il Faut!!! The Bentley, the Rolex, the Cartier of Tango shoes!
WARNING! : If you walk into this shop, you will not be walking out with just one pair of shoes!
We were in a candy store (an understatement)! The owner had enough assistants/sales-ladies on hand, each one serving two of us customers. They consulted with us to see what design and how high a heel we were looking for.
I went straight to, “Please bring out every design in size 6”!
I bought 10 pairs of shoes plus 2 for friends who had given me their orders.
When I see THE SHOES, this is what goes through my mind ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Argentina offers many Argentinean made products. Their leather goods are some of the best in the world, if not the best! Jackets, slacks, skirts, furs, shoes, boots, purses… customers choose the leather and design, get measured and items are delivered to the hotel within 24 hours. Yes, we all bought our custom leather goods. I also bought beautifully designed knitted tops and rodocrosita jewelries for myself and as souvenirs. The Galaria Pacifico and a few other magnificent malls (both architecturally and line-up of shops) offer products to die for.

We stopped at the Hard Rock Cafe, Buenos Aires for souvenirs and lunch.
Filled the entire taxi interior with our shopping bags! I am in the front seat with more bags! This is days after shopping at Comme il Faut, aaand… we had other shopping trips too!

- No, I had only two large suitcases filled with goodies I shopped.
- Not only these shoes are so~ beautiful, they are VERY comfortable too. They are designed for comfort with understanding that feet swell while dancing.

Yes, I do dance sometimes. For about 4 years, I would dance 4 nights a week for 2~4 hours at a time. It slowed down, only because I moved and the venue is too far.
However, as much as I can, I try not to miss any chance to participate when there is an Argentine Tango performance.
