It is a dessert blog, a project for school that includes Tasty taking desserts to school every Friday and posting her progress and recipes. Although Tasty will be posting what she takes to school, she might also post recipes that she likes which have nothing to do with her project. 7 random things about me:
1. I once flew a plane
2. I was a Flower Princess at age 14, representing Iran at the Kobe Port Festival (Japan).
3. I was one of the few female (if there were any other) U.S. expatriot corporate executives in Japan.
4. During my 25 years of corporate management, I have hired and trained over 1000 employees… and never laid-off/fired any.
5. I sing karaoke.
6. My nanny only spoke Turkish.
7. My first car, a VW bug was stolen in Berkeley, CA and was recovered by Police in the vicinity of Disneyland Los Angeles. The special/unique identifying mark which helped Police spot the car? The Mini Mouse sticker I had placed on its back hood!

I wanted to start a flight lesson. When I went to the school, first they wanted me to fly (with the instructor by my side) to see if it was right for me and then talk business. I flew 15 minutes over San Francisco Bay Area. As scary/worried as I was, everything went very smoothly and I loved it. The cost of the school was too much for my budget, and I was not able to take the class. They charged me $15 (35 yrs ago) for the session and said they will put it toward my tuition should I decide to take the class. It was the best $15 I spent. I don’t think it is available these days… otherwise I would fly again at the drop of a hat.

I love that, at least as it transpires to me from your facts above, you are one of those fab people who know how to work well and play well in a very creative way, using your many talents so that they are shared out to other people. Congratulations on a most deserved award!
